Overview

Elmhurst Hospital features 259 private inpatient suites in an aesthetically pleasing, easy-to-navigate environment. Built from the ground up to incorporate the latest trends in healthcare design, the Hospital offers a healthcare experience that is less intimidating and more comforting. Elmhurst managed their valet operations in-house at one entrance. After struggling with training, turnover and guest satisfaction they turned to FC Health for consultation.

Solutions

FC created a 90-day action plan for service improvement which included our healthcare specific service and safety training for the existing valet team. We measured our service delivery through both internal and third party secret shopper programs.

Results

FC transitioned the property from in-house management to our services. Through an increase in leadership support, retraining of existing staff, and a team of FC recruited and trained valets, we improved service, security, and reduced turn-around times for guests of Elmhurst Hospital.

Our services were a so well received on campus, we were asked to expand
operations to include two additional entrances at the location allowing more guests access to valet and hospitality services.
